Tanks with Pale skin?

So far this summer I have not worn any sleeveless or tube top style tops because I feel like I'm too pale to pull it off. 


I have this awesome Tube top I want to wear out tomorrow night, but it seriously would look a million times better with a beautiful golden tan and glow.


My question is, how stupid does it look wearing sleeveless things when your super pale, and should i just go ahead and wear it.  Or should I do the usual mystic tan, which still doesn't seem to give me that natural sun tanned deep golden glow look.

I have really pale skin and don't get tan or do self-tanner or bronzer and I wear tank tops all the time so I hope it doesn't look stupid! If you're self conscious maybe you can use a bit of bronzer, some tinted moisturizer or one of those shimmer creams.

Do you have any chunky or multi-strand necklaces that you can wear? If I'm wearing something low cut I prefer to wear a necklace or scarf that covers up or distracts from my chest a bit since I'm so pale that I have some visible veins.

I also find that if I wear a shirt, necklace or scarf in a color that really works well with my skintone I look much nicer and less like death.

I'm with cc.  I hope people don't think i'm stupid because I am pale and wear tanks also during the summer without any color on my body.

IMO life is too short to worry about this kind of stuff. I wear tanks all the time and I'm as white as they come. I do try a little JNG in the summer but it doesn't do much, and honestly, I don't really care. I just feel a little thinner-looking when I'm not so glow-in-the-dark white.

Pale skin can be really lovely. I say wear your tanks and who cares what anyone thinks!

Another pale girl here who wears tanks and sleeveless tops all summer.  I hope I don't look stupid either!  Just embrace your paleness girl!  I'm sure you look great.  And like cc said, if you're self concious, just throw on some self tanner - that's what I do sometimes.

Thanks girls!  I know none of you look stupid wearing tanks!!  I think I am just self consious because I have never been this pale before, and everyone I see out is so freaking tan and has this gorgeous glow.


But now that ive posted and thought about it, you girls are right, why do i care?  Especially since im in a city where i dont know anyone.  I need to stop worrying, thanks for making me come to my senses!

i am super pale...i always joke that my mom had an affair the the albino milk man!!I wear tanks all teh time...

I'm paler than Casper, but I sport my tank tops with pride! I'd rather be pasty than have skin cancer!


But if you really are concerned about being pale, try Jergens Natural Glow or the like.

yes kenzie i do agree with you on the skin cancer. i used to get sun alot as a teen ager, but not anymore.so i will be pale pale and wear my tank tops
