The boots she posted got me to thinking of the ones I bought in January.  They are similiar but not the same.

I have been contemplating keeping or returning.  I think they are cute, but was afraid they would look dated.  Please give me your thoughts.

$129.95

I think they look really cute and you can always wear them under long pants if you're worried about the slouching looking dated but if you never wore them and feel unsure about them you should definitely try to return or ebay them.

Let me clarify... I am in So. California.  We haven't exactly had boot weather this year.  The couple of times I went to wear them I thought "what if this is the only time I wear them?  If they are dated I won't get to wear them next fall/winter."  I guess I got over obsessive about that.  I am not so much worried about the slouch as I am the top/foldover part.  Is it too Robin Hood?  Is that what will date them in the fall?

i like them, but as a general rule of thumb, if i don't wear a piece in season (there are a few exceptions) i get rid of it. helps to limit the closet clutter.

I think they are really cute!!!  I know what you mean about worrying about looking dated.  But the way I see it, tall boots NEVER go out of style.  They'll always look good with jeans tucked in - and with the many individual looks & vintage-inspired looks, you can wear these forever (and even pass them down to you daughters! )

But then again - I'm a bit of a packrat!
