Gift for boyfriend's graduation
Permalink Closed

Hey, girls. First of all, I miss posting here on a regular basis so much. My work blocked ST a few months ago and that is where I posted from the most.

My boyfriend's graduation from the fire academy is coming up next week and I am trying to figure out what to get him. We have only been dating about 2 1/2 months so I don't want to get anything TOO personal or lovey-dovey. However, he is my boyfriend so I don't want to give him something too impersonal either.

I have already gotten him 2 small things: a coloring book (lol) about a firefighter that just happens to have his name and works in his city (too cute to pass up) and some cookies shaped like firemen, fires, and firetrucks from this cute cookie place by me.

Some ideas I have come up with are (but none seem quite right):

1. An iHome for his iPod: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wo/1.RSLID?mco=F93306F&nplm=TH101LL%2FA
2. Some DVDs and/or CDs that I know he likes or think he would like.
3. A bottle of good whiskey (yuck, but he likes it) with some nice glasses

Help!

Wait - what? A boyfriend? Did I miss something? When did this happen? Yay for you!

Okay, down to business. I think you should get him the iHome. A nice bottle of whiskey is good too but I think the iHome is a more significant present for a graduation gift. Especially if you wrap up the two smaller gifts first so he thinks you're just getting him little, cute things. And then bam! awesome gift at the end.

a boyfriend? you go, girl!  sorry to hear about the blocking of ST, but glad to hear things are going well for you

the ihome is a great choice - we got one not that long ago and my husband loves it...

Looks like it is unanimous on the iHome. I'm going to order it now to make sure I get it in time. By the way, if anyone wants one, they should buy it from Amazon. It is $85 there instead of $100 at the Apple store (free shipping both places).

And, YES, I have a boyfriend. I have been in a fully-functioning, normal relationship for about 2 1/2 months (1 of them as boyfriend/girlfriend). For those of you that know me, you know that's a record for me.

Yay Maat!!!  I am so excited for you.  I am technologically challenged so I won't cast a vote on what to get because I have no idea what an Ihome is vs. a bottle of whiskey.
