ISO some new hair products...need recs.

My old hairdresser recommended this to keep the ends of my hair from frizzing out, getting dry, and to get them to look kind of beachy-piecey. It really does work, especially in the few weeks right after a haircut. I need a replacement as this does get hard to find and is very expensive (I think it cost me $30, but I did get almost a year's supply). I would rather buy something in a B&M too.

I also need a serum or sorts that will keep my ends from splitting.

Would like to pay drugstore, but will pay for salon if neccessary.

My ends used to be fried and I have been using a new concoction of products and am very happy.

I love Paul Mitchell's super-skinny for my ends, at the end of the styling.

I use infusium spray when my hair is wet before blow-drying. And, I use a few pumps of Redkin anti-snap after, on the ends.

In the shower I've been happy with Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm. It's not too pricey for a salon brand, in fact, they sell it at CVS and Meijers, so it's not really even a Salon brand any more. And, a little goes a long way.

Garnier Fructis makes good drugstore shampoo/conditioners.  If I'm using Garnier I always buy the conditioner in the little pot - it's a little more heavy duty.

For salon products - If you find a good 2 liter sale, I recommend either K-Pak by Joico, or All Soft by Redken.

Styling - If I want my hair to look a little more piece-y and not have any flyaways I use a TINY amount of Matrix serum and TINY amount of BedHead pomade mixed together in my palm

To protect when styling - I spray my hair with Redken's So Long heat activated spray.

New favorite product:  I 100% recommend Bed Head Chocolate Head to make you hair super soft and shiny.
