Not my baby...just my darling beautiful niece. We (mommy, daddy, baby, and I) took a trip to the beach recently and I wanted to share some pics. I'm a very very proud aunt.

Thanks ladies...I love my little niece. I will admit to kissing and pinching her cheeks, even munching on them when no one's looking. She is seven months (?)..born the week after Thanksgiving. And yes, being an aunt is great...I spent the whole week at home and at the beach just playing with her and didn't have to change any diapers. Everytime I felt or smelt something a little funny I just handed her off to somebody else who would be willing to do that dirty duty.


Funny story...I have four sisters and sometimes it's a little hard to remember that the baby is my niece and not just another sister. My sister (the mom) and I were at Babies R Us picking up a high chair and I wanted to buy Izzy (the baby) a "I love my big sister" bib...totally not getting it that it should have read "I love my Aunt". I was seriously confused trying to figure out why my sister was laughing at me.
