I thought it was pretty good... I was surprised that the entire store is on sale (except the white Danaes... phew, cuz I paid full price). I got some super comfy driving mocs which were marked down to $42 & rang up as $32!! I am gonna go back after work cuz we ran out of time at lunch, but I thought it was an awesome sale! Sorry...

I stopped in for a few minutes today and nothing I liked was on sale and what I did like wasn't on much of a sale.  I would just hold out and skip it for something better later in the summer.

I didnt see anything either. And I rarely leave Banana without buying something. I think I'm starting to think about fall stuff already so none of the leftover summer stuff was appealing to me.

I went to the Hillsdale one on my way home from work last night and picked up a few basics. I never buy much from BR, so 3 things for me is quite a lot.

There were lots of shoes on sale, and handbags were on sale too.

ETA:
They had this jacket for $55 (compared to $80 online), which is a bit more than I would want to pay. I would have bought it if I liked the fit on me. I actually think it looked better on me than on the model below, but I still didn't 100% like it.

I never go into BR (generally too conservative for me) but I wanted to give the shoes a try since I'm in need of summery non-flip flop shoes. The shoes were on a decent sale and I did like some of the pairs. However, when I asked politely if there were any more sizes in the back, the SA dealing with the shoes gave me the WORST attitude ever (The Grove, Los Angeles).

What hurt even more was that he was WONDERFUL to the next two girls (thinner/prettier because they TRIED, as opposted to me who was leaving from a long day of working on the set of a TV show).

So I left BR feeling fat, unloved and ugly.

The handbags are on a decent sale too though.

ETA: there was actually a really cool pair of pewter strappy shoes from the winter collection that looked used but still had plenty of wear left for $17.99...they would've been mine if they weren't a size too small.

(I would've put out the eye of the SA who didn't help me first with the heel, but that's besdes the point)

Ewww..what an evil bitch!!!

You are so cute and NOT fat!

I had a similar situation happen to me at F21 once, when the sales associate looked like I was crazy when I said I needed a size 7 in a pair of pants.

Girl, just tell me his name & I will beat the man down... how dare he give you attitude! You should never feel any of those things and I bet it was more because you look young that he was a jerk, I get that too and then someone more "affluent" looking comes in & they are all over her! I hate SAs like that, grrr!!!

I stopped by two different BR stores yesterday. They did have tons of stuff on sale but I really only liked a couple of things. I got a sheer, pale blue cardi for $29 (originally $58) and two tees with a measly $4 mark-down, just because I need more tees.

Ohhhhh I hate that! I read some study where people who went into a store looking more "done up" got way better service than the people who just went in jeans and a tee or something. That kills me! Usually when I'm shopping, I'm going to wear the easiest thing to get in and out of to try things on, and that usually ends up being a tee shirt, jeans, and flip flops.

That was so rude, you could probably shoot him.

Lilykind, it should make you feel better to know that Lola peed on the floor in the middle of that store. I think she did it for you.
