My office has recently changed from being "casual" to "business casual" and I'd like to step it up a notch. The past few years I've turned to jeans when I can't figure out what to wear and I'd like to break myself of that habit. I have no problem during the winter, but I'm having a hard time this summer. I have a lot of skirts, but I need more pants and something to wear over tanks/camis to make them more office appropriate. Budget: about $500 over the next two months.
I'm probably not much help in the pants department, as I wear mostly skirts in the summer, but if you don't have a pair of white pants that are office-appropriate, I'd try to find pair of those. Also, maybe you can stock up on some cropped pants now that they're going on sale at Gap. (Anthro also has a ton of pairs of crops on their sale racks right now.) Gap, $30:
Versatile, perfect for an air-conditioned office over camis, and you can wear it into fall/winter too, making it worth the cost (88)
I know that shopchicago has this and loves it. Easy to throw on over a tank. Also comes in black & orange (68)
I have this in the cream and the black, and I find myself reaching for them constantly. IRL it has a pretty diamond-knit pattern that looks great for the office over anything. (78)
I seriously this, but they're sold out of it in all colors in Medium! Booooooooo!
Did you try calling some stores to see if they could do a charge send? I could've sworn I saw it last week when I was in the store! I'll be by my local Anthros (I've got three) and I'll see if they have it.

Do you mind? You'd be my best friend ever! By the way, my first choice would be the black, second choice, red. The orange-y color that they have is just no good on my skin tone.
