bought this dress- but i have no idea what shoes i would wear with it- if i find a pair, i'll keep it- if not, to ebay it goes

any suggestions for a fairly versatile pair?

I can't tell, are the bands at the bottom of the sleeves, hem, etc. navy or black? I would just get something strappy in that color. It's not very adventurous, but there is so much going on with the dress I don't think you need a shoe that really stands out

I like orange as a compliment to the navy...orange is a much more versatile color than you'd expect. It will blend really well with taupes and browns and greens from summer into fall.
