So there hasn't been any talk about it. I was wondering what you girls think after watching 3 shows. I think it is getting a little better, regardless I am still watching it. I am hooked. But for some reason it makes me like Lauren more. They show her differently I think then in Laguna, I like how she is actually trying to obtain her goals, unlike her roommate who is a complete moron. She is not going to school, but she thought she was only working part time. She wanted to quit because she was stuffing envelopes on the first day. Come On. I like her boss's expression when she came to talk to him. I think he is kind of regretting hiring her. And that other chick, she works at an adminstrive assistant, how does she afford where she is living? She must also come from a rich family.

Ugh - LC's roommate Heidi is the biggest moron ever. She's so spoiled - she doesn't want to do anything. She goes to school for one day and hates it, then she lands her "dream job" and hates it after a day.  Oh and I love her boyfriend telling her to just quit!  What does he do?  They're all spoiled rich kids.  Lauren may be a rich kid - but I love her.  At least she has goals.

I cannot wait for next week when Jason is back!

I think the last episode was kind of uneventful, but I still like the show and will keep watching.

Heidi is getting old. I am sick of her already. They better add some depth to her character ... fast.

I don't know how I am going to feel once Jason comes into the picture. I think he's gross. I have always been a fan of Stephen. I would be so happy if he showed up!

Bottom line ... I will only continue watching because I like LC.

And what does Heidi think will be going on in her "dream job" anyway? Even is she was actually planning parties, it's not like she just gets to show up to the party w/o doing any work and then lounge around talking to celebrities. It will actually involve WORK! You won't get to hang around and gossip with celebs all night.

I really really hate Heidi. She grates my very last nerve.

Oh my gosh, I am so hooked on this show.  I like it so much better than LB, I think because I actually like people on the show.  (I loved LB but hated all the people on it, if that makes sense.)  The show really makes me like Lauren; I thought on LB she came off just as catty as Kristin, just in a different way.  But she seems like a really nice, smart girl on this show, and she's definitely grown up a lot.  All of her friends are pretty much idiots.  It amazes me that she can stand hanging out with them.  Heidi kills me, especially on this last episode when she was all ticked off about her job being full time.  Who quits school for a part-time job?!!!

ok, let me preface this by saying, i also can't stand Heidi but...

Does anyone else find LC to be really judgemental/annoying about the whole thing?  She's like rolling her eyes all over the place, talking down to Heidi..just... not really being understanding.  I kind of feel bad for Heidi- she clearly doesn't know how to do anything.  But Lauren didn't seem happy AT ALL for Heidi when she got this job- its not everyone's dream to go to fashion school- i agreed with Heidi when she said that.  I don't know..i guess I don't really like any of them...the other two (blonde and brunette) seem nice and all, but kind of vapid.

I'm kind of bored with the show. I love LC, but she really doesn't do much. And Heidi is almost too dumb to be believed. Although I can sort of relate to her and suspect that her personality may make her seem worse than she really is. (I come off ditzy, too, but I actually have a very good work ethic).

I missed the first episode, but I am definitely hooked. She does come off as much nicer than she did on LB. However, the way she is treating Heidi is a bit ridiculous. I agree with Lynnie. Yes, she deserves to be upset, but she could at least not be so immature about it. That said, I still like Lauren. On a side note, is anyone going to watch the third season of LB this summer? (When does it premiere?) The whole show is getting a bit ridiculous, but I know I'll watch it anyways. What can I say, I'm a sucker for LB!

I think Lauren's attitude is more like, "Ahh hell, here we go again.  Heidi gets handed a really great opportunity but she'll get bored and quit in a day."  After a few times, that sort of thing would get really tiresome, especially for Lauren who is showing at least a little bit of good work ethic.  But maybe I think that because my dislike for Heidi knows no boundaries   I can't wait for Jason to come back.  I think he's scuzzy but I love how Lauren isn't afraid to call him on his bullshit.

i am totally hooked on this show, but i can't watch anythign without thinking about how staged it seems.  everything that happens makes me wonder how much of it was set up for mtv.

lauren's age becomes very apparent when she's whining that she thought she and heidi were going to go to school together.  (like seriously, who goes to college soley b/c their friend is going?  oh yeah, 19 year olds)   i don't think lc's attitude toward heidi comes from her being more mature or together, i think she's just pissed that she thought she would have a buddy to hang at school with and now she doesn't.

I have this same maturity thought about 14,000 times during every episode & wonder why they put up with some crap. I keep trying to convince myself that I think it's all so stupid & trival because I'm 34 (2 marriage, a degree & several job / career changes later) but then I hear from 19 year olds on this board that I think are awesome & I'm reminded that it's all very "Hollywood" & scripted reality. But seriously, this board is one of the few things that keeps reminding me that the next generation isn't all spoiled rotten with a ridiculous sense of entitlement.....Thanks to so many that I can't even name them all. I sometimes forget how young some of our members are (compared to my ancient self) & I'm pleased all over again.

Of course I tivo & keep watching every week so what does that say about me?

MTV got Lauren that job at Teen Vogue.  She would never have gotten it on her own. She couldn't interview worth anything.  She said "like" like 10 times.  Heidi is just an idiot...she kind of looks like Kristin.

Not all 19 year olds go to college because their friends are going... I know that's not the reason why I am going.

no, i'm sorry -- that wasn't the best way to word what i was trying to say and i hope i haven't offended you or any of the other younger people here.  in no way did i mean that all 19 year olds are immature.  when i watch these shows, i forget that these people are all pretty young and when stuff like this (lauren and heidi going to school together) comes up, i am reminded that they are still pretty immature, and the immaturity is partially related to their age but there are other factors contributing to it as well.

Does anyone else think Jason is gross? I mean, look at the way he "grooms" his facial hair. If he lets his face look that way, I shudder to think about how he keeps things in other areas ...

Don't worry about it. It is all good.

& yeah, Jason looked uuuuugly. He needs to groom his facial hair. He needs a haircut! & I cannot believe he kissed Lauren. I was like covering my eyes! hahaha

Will someone please tell Lauren to wash her hair, and wear some make-up other than tons of eyeliner! Also why does she always look sick, is she paryting every night? She looked like crap on the cover of Teen Vogue also, just very tired and worn out.

Now that I got that off my chest, I am happy that Jason is back, we needed some boy drama! Heidi is a loser!

I'm totally hooked on this stupid show.

* I never watched LB but I have to say - I don't think Jason is cute AT ALL. She can do so much better.
* Oh Heidi -who would've thought that an entry level job would include answering the phone & filing? ("it's so hard" - what? ordering supplies & fetching lunch?????)
* I sure hope Whitney doesn't want to be an actress cause she's not very good at it. Although I think she's adorable.

Did I mention I don't get the Jason thing?

I still think Jason is a moron, and that lauren can do so much better. He talks like he is an idoit, and he doesn't even make sense half the time. I can't believe she is back with him. I agree on the comment about lauren needing to wash her hair, it looked a little greasy yesterday night. And Heidi, omg, if I had to work with her I would go nuts. It is called work for a reason.
