Do you buy/read it every month? I have a subscription because I know I would buy it at the bookstore every month if I didn't. That being said, it normally shows up in the bookstore before it comes to my mailbox....

I pick it up once in awhile. Some times I think its great other times I wonder what the hell they are thinking. I just have a magazine addiction.....

I've been disappointed in my subscription and know if I didn't receive it in the mail I wouldn't buy it except for my plane trips to training once or twice a year. If you read it all the time you might as well get it off of ebay, magazines.com, bluedolpin.com, etc and not pay full price for it. Just know it will arrive after it hits the news stands if that will make a difference to you.

Ime their delivery times are so late that it's just infuriating. I pay full price for it on the newsstand. I actually pretend that i'm just purchasing a $2.99 raffle ticket 'cause of all the contests you can enter.

A lot of issues stink, but I'm a glutton for magazines so I don't mind.

what she said. But it off the stand..it takes forever to arrive.

I just got it for the first time this month, but it was a waste of money IMO. I don't think I'll get it again.

Good point - I never thought of it that way!

Oh, and while some issues of Lucky are really awful, overall it's usually still an entertaining read. And for the measly $13/year or whatever I pay for it, it's worth it to me.

I subscribe to it, mostly because when I didn't subscribe to it I usually ended up purchasing it at the bookstore, and each year costs me only $10 which ends up being less than $1 per issue.

I buy it at the store. It would be much cheaper to subscribe, but I do not want to chance it coming all bend and shreded. Also I like to get them right when they come out which is the 5th for me. The cost of the mag pays for itself with the stuff I win.
