I want to see it too. Not sure if I will see it in the theater though (I hate movie theaters).

hmm...well the ads sound kinda cheesy "The one man I can never meet, I am ready to give my whole heart to"

but maybe the movie will be better

is it bad that one of the primary draws to this movie for me is the fact that the tv trailers use Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know"?

I do want to see it. One of my friends saw it last night at a friends and family screening and said she enjoyed it more than she thought she would.

When I first saw this trailer, it seemed very familiar to me.  Then I realized that I knew this movie, I had seen it before, except it was a korean film.  The plot is EXACTLY the same--the guy in a cabin by the lake with the woman in the city, and the letters being sent through time.

I too am really excited about it. I'm trying to plan a girls night with some of my friends to go out this weekend but I'm not sure how it's going to work out. If I have to, I'll go see it solo.

I am torn about it. I want to see it because I love her, but it has potential to be really cheesy.

Me too!  I was thinking, "the movie can't be bad if there's a Keane song in it"  I really love Keane.

ok, I don't mean to be a stickler here, but I really don't see why they couldn't just be together already! I haven't seen the movie obviously - but it's 2 years, right? Not like Somewhere in Time where it was different centuries. Seems like the one that was there first would wait out the 2 years for the other if it was really true love. I mean right?

Sorry, but really I'm such a loser that I've been batting this scenario around in my head since I first saw the trailers!

Maybe I'm just really slow but I don't even understand the plot of this movie from the trailers. One of them is living two years in the future? So then that person who is two years ahead can never really wait for the other person because he/she would always be two years ahead and the other person two years behind?

Oh my goodness, I am making no sense! See, I can't watch a movie like this. I need my romantic movies by the book :)

I've been dying to find out what the twist was. It is still kind of confusing.

What I got from the trailers is that they are communicating 2 years apart. Ok hopefully this will make sense...They could set a date sometime to meet up in the future. For example a week from whatever day for the person in the future which would be 2 years and a week for the person in the past. That would be a long wait for the person living in the past lol. Think "back to the future" how Marty gave the letter to the Doc in the past so he wouldn't get shot in the future. It could work.

It looks like it might be cheesy to me but because I love all of Sandra Bullock's movies, I'm willing to give it a shot

has anyone read Griffen & Sabine?  The plot reminds me of those books.

I think it looks really interesting.  i am on biz for the next two weeks and am considering going to see it while i am away b/c the BF doesn't really want to see it.

Ha! Me too! And because it seems so silly, I have no desire to see it. But who knows - maybe I'll change my mind.
