i really love the bigger bombay tote, and am debating getting it. i think someone on here has it? (carmen?) how do you like it? is the leather soft? will i regret getting a cream bag? (i am messy)

TIA!

i have one and really love it. I'm pretty clumsy and messy and I've still managed to keep it clean. The color goes with more than I thought it would. to keep it clean -- especially frommy icky subway hands -- I plan to carry it more on my shoulder than in my hand. The leather is soft, but i wouldn't call it buttery.

Surprisingly, it isn't a HUGE tote. It certainly isn't as big as the large skeleton.

hope that helps,
deborah

i don't have the bombay, but i do have the clyde. i'd assume that the leather is the same across the board. i  also wouldn't say buttery, just b/c i think of buttery as being very soft and almost fragile, i.e. buttery = unstructured. the leather on my clyde is very nice, rich, and sturdy, but i wouldn't say unstructured. hth.

Also, the price of the large Bombay natural at the customer-appreciation sale is only $30 more than the price at the sample sale.
