I need some more help with this. There are lots of guidelines for dressing for pictures, so I can't just pick my favorite this or that, and I'm having trouble finding things that might work. I've checked out our photographers site, and most people wear jeans or khakis. They do a lot of 'out and about' shots using the city as the backdrop, so fancier stuff looks a bit silly. I wouldn't be opposed to a more casual dress though, if it was the right color and style.
Cost needs to be as minimal as possible, since we're moving next week blah blah blah.
Guidelines are as follows, and nothing I own fits them:
- Light/Medium solid colors. Nothing too bright (Preferably a nice purple, berry, blue, or green) - Nothing too detailed - no lace or ruching, but with some kind of more structured interest - No camis - either sleeveless or short sleeved are okay - Nothing too flowy, need something cut close to the body but not tight - Must look good with darker denim jeans
This list is nightmarish to me! Any suggestions? Seen anything/bought anything recently yourself that might work?

I checked out your other stores, but couldn't find anything particularly cute that meets all of your requirements. Ooops, I was looking for short sleeves, nothing sleeveless. I'll go back and look again.
I don't know how to copy pictures from F21. I think they disabled that or something, but check out their tops, they do have some cute stuff, super cheap.
I know you listed darker colors, but I think the yellow would look really great with dark jeans and future hubby could wear a lighter blue button down with dark jeans. I think that the yellow and the light blue button down would look great together. I also think yellow is such a happy color. I actually bought this myself, but in a shade of green pretty close to the second dress below. It's really pretty, and fits really well. It's quite simple, but the color is great. You might want to see if it's still in the stores.
I like these dresses as well:
I don't know how I feel about wearing white in engagement pictures. It's like they would be too close to the wedding pictures or something. But I could be wrong! It's happened before!

This only works in IE...if you're using Mozilla Firefox, it doesn't work.
Plus a ton of other stuff at F21. None of it fit correctly . My F21 was sorely lacking in the short sleeved, non-skanky department.
I ended up with this:
Which I may or may not end up wearing. It's not as 'pretty' as I was going for, but it will look cute with jeans, and I could wear it with a light khaki circle skirt I already have as well.
I really appreciate everyone's suggestions . If I could do long sleeves I'd have some more options, but we're going to be outside mid-day in July. Dressing for photos blows .
I'll link to them in a couple weeks so you can all see how they turn out, which is good, hopefully!
