How do you carry your bags?

Do you typically carry them on your shoulder, hooked on your arm, or in your hand?

On shoulder

Hooked on arm

In hand

on my shoulder! I hate the constant attention you have to pay when they're on your elbow or in your hand. It even took me a LONG time to get used to the idea of a purse that goes over one shoulder, instead of one I could put diagonally across me (requiring the least amount of thought)

I just want to be bothered as least I can with it

All three. I prefer shoulder bags though, mostly because of the fact that I walk a lot and need a larger bag that can hold my life together while being easy to carry.

On my shoulder, pretty much always.  It's just more comfortable that way.

All my bags can be carried on my shoulder, and that's the way I usually do carry them.  I do not allow myself to carry non-shoulder bags (with the exception of clutches) because I inevitably put them down somewhere and walk away ...

I alternate between all 3, but every bag I buy has to fit over my shoulder.

Shoulder.  In fact, I'm still a fan of a messenger style bag because I walk so much and hate having to deal w/ a bag.

I constantly find myself attracted to bags w/ shorter handles, but I have to resist buying them because I know I won't enjoy them or use them enough.

I'm a total shoulder girl. I have given away / sold bags that I can't fit on my shoulder. I will carry in the crook of my arm SOMETIMES but only if i must.

Maybe I'm weird but I almost always carry my bag in the crook of my arm. Sometimes I carry it on my shoulder but I feel like it frequently slips off. I *never* carry it in my hand bc I would lose it in about ten seconds.

on my shoulder-- and then switch shoulders when one gets sore from all the junk in my purse and then when the other shoulder gets sore- if the first shoulder is still sore then wrist/in my hand.

All three  but mostly on the shoulder so I can have both hands free to do whatever I need to do.

All three. I love clutches, though they are not really practical for me, so I have to stop myself from buying them all the time.

My favorite is a shoulder bag, but lately it seems like all I'm buying is bags that won't fit over my shoulder. It's only bad when I'm shopping or something, and then my own bag, plus the purchases, tend to get a little heavy as I'm hauling things to the car or whatever.

I alternate between all three, but I only have one bag that won't fit over my shoulder.  I hate not having that option, because I sick of holding them in my hand and it hurts to carry them in the crook of my arm after a while.  Mostly, I'm a shoulder girl!

None that I carry in my hand.. unless it is an evening bag.

I prob have an equal number that are shoulder or arm-only bags.

I have a few crook of the arm bags (I always feel super lady like carrying them for some reason) but most of mine are shoulder bags.  They are so much easier to shop and generally go out with.
