Nordstrom's is completely sold out of 4's and 6's in the now-famous Lilykind dress.  I have the 2 and am going to re-try it out this evening but I'm pretty sure it's just too small. So, I checked out Ebay and they have exactly what I need but I just know they are all fakes (checked feedback). I have been happy with a fake MJ dress I bought on Ebay, but am nervous about pressing my luck.  Anyone have experience or just wanna comment?

I've heard horror stories from people buying fake DVF dresses off eBay - like the pattern was different when it arrived, sizing totally off, etc. I've wanted to buy fakes before, but hearing those things has kinda scared me off.

I don't have that much of an issue with buying fakes as long as they at least look expensive. The fakes of this dress that I've seen look cheap, IMHO. The print is really hart to get right.


Occasionally an ebay seller will have a real one. Right now I think there's a size 2 dress on ebay that is real.

By the way, I have not had good experiences on eBay with foreign sellers so I would not recommend.  I bought that MJ Yoko dress everyone got and it's already coming apart.  Although they look almost identical, the one at Neimans feels a lot nicer and the silk is twice as substantial.  The one I got that came from China is almost paper thin.  In the end, I don't think I would do it again.
