honestly, i like it better on you than i do on me. i think it's because you're taller.

It's funny that you say that, b/c when I put it on, I was like "This looked better on Lilykind." I think because you're curvier. To me, I look straight up and down.

I think it looks great on you!  May I ask you a sizing question?  I just got mine yesterday and while I love the dress I think it is too small on me.  There doesn't seem to be a lot of fabric and I have a big slit right up the front.  Does yours fit like that?  Did you size up?  TIA

I actually did size up. I normally wear a 6 in skirts, and size up to an 8 in dresses, due to my chest, but thanks to Lilykind's feedback, I sized all the way up to a 10. I feel like it fits perfectly; I have just enough fabric that the slit part falls in a way where it's totally overlapping the underneath part of the fabric (if that makes sense).

The only fit problem that I have with it is that I feel like it's a tiny bit too big in the shoulders - I think sizing up made it also bigger for someone with broader shoulders or a longer torso. It will be an easy fix at the tailor, though, just to nip in some of the fabric at the top of the shoulder.

Are you going to post pics of yourself in yours? Maybe seeing it on someone else will help me decide.

Thanks for all the opinions. I still haven't decided. I think I might play around with it some more tonight. I tried it on again last night and tied it differently, and I felt like it looked better. And I really do love the pattern, so I'm leaning toward keeping it, but we'll see.

I really appreciate all the feedback!

Thanks so much for the feedback.  I should have listenend to Lilykind's feedback.  I think I will order a 4 and 6 to see how I feel about the fit.

I would be happy to post pics of the one I just got if you can wait til tomorrow since I'm at work now...

PS I think you should keep the dress.

I forgot to bring my camera home last night.  I did try it on again and I do love how it looks on, but I know it's definately too small.  The problem is that there is not enough fabric in the front; I can only stand with my legs closed, if I even put a leg out to the side or open my legs a little the entire front opens with my legs.  Other than that it is gorgeous.  I'm super bummed, but I'll try a DVF dress next time I get the heads up that it's going for this little!

I think I'm going to be the guinea pig and buy a fake off Ebay.  I'll let you all know how it turns out.  Now I just have to decide if I should go with my real size on Ebay or go with the DVF sizing...
