cash gift?

Im going to my husband's niece high school graduation tonight and we just thought it would be easier to give her some cash.

What would be an appropiate amount for a high school graduation gift?

Maybe about $50. If you are pretty close to them then maybe you could do higher but if your not Iwould say $50 is good.

If you are close to her, I'd say $50.  If you aren't, really I'd do $25.

I'd do $30 if your not close (it seems so much nicer than $25) or $50 if you are.

I'm guessing you're decently close since you're going to her graduation so I'd do $50. Possibly more if you're really close.

Wow! I want to get gifts from you guys!

I try to always stick to $25 on gifts, no matter the occasion. Maybe I'm cheap though.

$50 is good. The thing is, some people will give $10 and some people will give into the hundreds...so I don't think you should go any lower than $50. Plus, high school graduations are gearing you up for the first time in your life that you have to support yourself... they need all the help they can get! $50 can buy you dinner for a year if you eat Ramen Noodles :)
