so i usually use mary kay's glow year round and i really like it, but i lost mine and thought this might be the perfect oportunity to try something new.  i was going to try benefit's urban cowboy, but i read on here a while back that it is kind of dark and i am very pale.  so i will need something a little more subtle.  i heard that cargo makes nice bronzers and cliniques new powder bronzer looks good, but dark.  if anyone could review the bronzers i mentioned or recomend something they love, that would be appreciated.  thanks

I'm pretty fair, and I use Cargo.  I love the stuff!

Stila or Dior. Also, definitely try Benefit Cowboy because I thought it was going to be a lot darker than it really is and I love it.

Cargo matte-No shimmery disco ball effect or orange glow like 99% of bronzers.

I recommend either Nars Laguna or MAC in Golden - I have both and love them.  I'm also very fair skinned and they look very natural on me - not too dark or orangey at all.

I've been using the Sephora brand for years and it's my favorite. I can do all kinds of things with it. (all over bronzer, contouring, cleavage enhancing, shoulder glowing, etc.)

Like Blubirde, I use the sephora, I think that it works well, but I wouldn't mind switching if I found something better.  So, bottomline: I am indifferent.

Are you talking about the new Dallas stuff?   I was wondering how dark it was.

i love bronzer.. i am more of a medium skin tone. i think dallas is really muddy and very pink/mauve-y. i wouldn't use this on a pale person as a bronzer.

ones i like are:
Guerlain sheer bronzer in blondes
Cargo medium matte
Chanel in Canyon or Toundra (these are very good for pale people with pinkish complexions.. it's less tan and more sunkissed)

drugstore ones that are good:
definitely check out physicians formula. they make tons for bronzers in lots of shades in a variety of finishes (shimmer, matte, etc).
also good drugstore ones are caboodles, jane and Wet N' Wild.
