Diet/nutrition brainstorming

Okay, after a couple days of doing Fitday, it looks like I need to try to fit some more protein into my diet.  I'm averaging a 60%/20%/20% split on Carbs/Protein/Fat.

So, I need some good lean protein idea - preferably not meat.  I've got egg whites and some beans in there, but I feel like I'm overlooking some relatively obvious choices ......

Anyone?

I don't know if it's lean protein (because I am a food idiot and live in Taco Bell) but what about nuts?

What about tofu?  Also, do you eat fish?  It is a great way to get lean protein.

For my protein, I use almonds, egg whites, protein shake, cereal, and tofu.

egg whites, cottage cheese, lf string cheese, soy sausage, Kashi cereal, nuts, beans

You can add egg whites to a lot of things too - like oatmeal or make protein pancakes with oatmeal, egg whites, and cottage cheese.

I have a hard time eating enough protein also... I've been trying to make protein pancakes for breakfast.  My other hard item is eating enough vegetables... fruit, whole grains, and healthy fat I've got down.
