I'm trying to find a little black dress and shoes to bring along to my upcoming NYC trip w/ the boyfriend.  What do you guys think of the one below?  (For the life of me I couldn't get the picture to show.)  Any shoe suggestions?  Thanks!!!

I think that the dress is gorgeous.  What would you be wearing it to?  A nice night out or a play?  Bc I think that it is too much to wear just around (but I am sure that is kind of a 'DUH!').  I would suggest a metallic shoe...

Yep, I don't own a LBD and I figured I could use one.  Plus, while in NYC, I'm sure we're going to go out for a nice dinner or something at least one evening.  PLUS, I have a couple weddings coming up in the fall.  Can ya tell I'm trying to justify this dress?

I think that dress is beautiful!  It really holds it's own - the detail makes it far from dull.  I think I'd do a simple red shoe with it, so they don't compete but still give a bit of a pop ...

thanks ladies for all the suggestions!!!  I really like the idea of wearing a red, silver, or gold shoe.  Here are some that I'm considering.  What do you guys think?

I also like that last pair of red shoes that you posted. The bow looks a smidge big, but I'd probably get them anyway because they are so pretty
