MissMee are those crocs?  I'm thinking of getting them for DD for the summer, do they hold up well with the kids, can you review them. They have these charms for them that make me almost wqant a pair for myself

These are Crocs knock-offs.  I can't find crocs in kid sizes in stores.  I got these at Payless, but I'd like to buy them at least one pair of the "real" things.  They're all sold out now, but when I originally bought my daughter some royal blue ones they had every color.  Live and learn, right?  But both my little kids love them, so I bought more of what they had.

oh happy day,
I went to the botkier sample sale after work just to "check it out" and ended up with two bags. I got the large bombay tote aka my summer bag and that I'd been coveting and the large skeleton drawstring in toffee. Though the prices were excellent -- both of my bags (including tax) were less than the regular price of the bombay tote -- I spent more than I really wanted. I deliberately left my credit cards at home and only used the cash on hand.

Here's my shopping report:

In all my years of sample sale-ing I have never seen the crowds this crazy. I got there around 4:30 and there weren't many bags left, but there were a lot of women waiting. They'd been there since 3 or so waiting for the UPS guy to deliver more bags. When he arrived around 5, the salespeople made everyone move to the entryway so they could unpack the bags. Since there were too many people to fit, a lot of us were in the main part of the showroom waiting and plotting which bags to grab first. When they said we could get bags it was a free-for-all; a folding table got knocked down and there was a lot of grabbing, pulling and shoving. And when the dust settled, all the cool bags were gone, and the trading began. Women were pretty cool about giving up a bag they didn't want. I got a white skeleton in large and traded it for a small white one and ended up giving it away. I also gave away a mahogany bombay tote because i had what i needed.

The guy at the showroom said the sale is probably going to end thursday and not friday because they won't have anymore bags. They are expecting one more delivery tomorrow, but he didn't know what it would contain. The doors opened at 11 and people started lining up at 8:30.

I also went to the DVF sale after work on Tuesday and all the good stuff was gone. There were lots of samples for $50, and I got a dark blue silk dress with kimono sleeves. A co-worker had gone in the morning and said there was a lot of grabbing and madness. All I got to experience was a long wait for the dressing room. By the time I left, the line for the dressing room, which is in the back, was near the front door, and the line to get in the store was down the block.

I got the large. I don't think the small was wider than 12 inches -- it was tiny. The way things were priced, it was a better deal for me to get the larger versions, which were only $50-$70. i'll post a photo soon in threadstyle.

from the botkier sale:

trigger clutch $125 from $465

trigger turbo $225 from $595

I got there about 1:15 pm, waited in line for about 45 minutes and then after I almost beat down a couple beeyatches I waited another 1.5 hours in line to pay.It was worth it though. But the Botkier people told us when they were getting another shipment so alot of girls bought but were coming back. Also soooooooo many girls bought ARMFULLS of bags. You now where most of those are headed..........the 'bay. Hey I kinda don't blame them

I didn't make it to DVF it was sooooo nasty out I got sick of being a soggy mess, sounds like it probably wasn't worth it anyway. Oh the guy from Botkier said girls were lining up @ 8:30am.The sale didn't start til 11am. Boy it was like they were giving out gov'ment cheese.

Until August.

This my friends could get VERY scary.I'm trusting that you all will lend me your support. And promise to call me a low down lyin' dirty dog if I break my ban.

Thanks Sincerely,

Carmen.

Just these monogramed cocktail napkins and dinner napkins, monogramed in white.

DH thinks I'm crazy for spending money on monogramed napkins, but I think there's something classy about them and they'll be around forever.

Just FYI - you can order them in all sizes directly from www.crocs.com. My whole family has them - even my grandmother & there is no where to buy them in the hick town they are in. I think they are ugly as hell & have been turning my nose up at them but when I tried on my mom's I got the big deal! They are more comfy than my birkenstocks!
