sorry girl I hate mark cuban plus I have to cheer for the lsu boy shaq.  I'm with the heat now.  maybe next year will be better for the spurs.  I know better than to hope for more from the rockets.

Eh no one anymore! Especially after hearing on the news that the Mavs shouldnt even be playing right now. They said that the NBA made a mistake on calling a foul so therefore the Spurs would have won that series

I wish there was a way where no one could win now

Well since I was rooting for both teams to make it to the finals, I now have to root for Heat.. I love dwayne wade ( he is so good, and seems like a super nice guy off the court)

But I think Mavs have a better chance of winning, because no one can match up with Dirk.. Yes you can tell Im really into basketball, my dad and bro live and breathe basketball so I pick alot of it up (really have no choice!)

wah, i'm still sad about the pistons. i guess eventually i will have to change my avatar.  i'm cheering for the mavs. i've always liked them, even back in the day when they sucked, and i think avery johnson is a pretty good coach. plus i can't stand shaq.

I am in Dallas, but I was not heartily rooting for the Mavs because I don't like Mark Cuban....but since the Spurs were beat and since the Mavs have proven themselves by winning the Western conference, I will cheer for them now 100%.  I think Avery Johnson and his team deserve it, plus Dirk Nowitzki has been my favorite player since day 1.

as much as i'm a mavs fan, i'm n/s about the dirk thing.  he may have an edge in being better offensively, but shaq is still damn strong. imho one of the things that distinguished the mavs this season was having dirk attack the basket instead of always settling for a jumper. but he can't really do that with shaq in the paint.

Mavericks, b/c the Heat literally make me want to vomit. I can't stand Pat Riley (holdover from Lakers v. Pistons games - I think he is an evil puppetmaster), and I think Shaq is the most overrated, arrogant, rude, and classless player in the NBA.

I'm not sure the Mavs are strong enough defensively to shut down Dwayne Wade and Shaq though. DW is just such an amazing all-around player, and Shaqs size (not talent, size) make him challenging.

I agree that DW is awesome; he seems really sweet and shows a ton of class on the court (would he please leave Miami, so I can root for him!).

Honey, I am with you on the avatar. I just can't bear to change it yet!

the only basketball team i watch is the Mavs.  (well before them when I was little i was a HUGE Celtics fan because i loved larry bird), so i definitely want the Mavs. to win.

honey i agree with you about dirk.  if you noticed the game they lost really bad to phoenix, he barely drove the lane, but he'll have a hard time doing that with shaq.  the good thing is that the mavs are a fairly young team (except for stackhouse) and may have that to their advantage.  i love avery johnson, i think he's a great coach, and after reading about mark cuban i really like him.  my bf used to tell me that he was great and before learning anything about him i thought the opposite, so i think if you take him at face value, he doesn't come off  that well.

there were calls throughout the WHOLE series that were wrong at significant points.  the Mavs had JUST as many wrong calls that went against them as the Spurs did.  so i don't really buy the fact that if it wasn't for that ONE call.  that's part of the game, that's part of every sports game.
