Yuck!! I get mold in my bathroom during the hot months.  How do I stop it?  I'm currently just spraying Lysol (sp?) Bleach which temporarily stops it.  I just don't want it to grow any more period.   Any suggestions?

Fight mold and mildew
To remove and inhibit bathroom mold and mildew, pour a solution of 3 tablespoons white vinegar, 1 teaspoon borax, and 2 cups hot water into a clean, recycled spray bottle and give it a few good shakes. Then spray the mixture on painted surfaces, tiles, windows, or wherever you see mold or mildew spots. Use a soft scrub brush to work the solution into the stains or just let it soak in.

I'm pretty sure you can't stop mold!  Just keep doing what you're doing girl.  Bleach is the way to go.  When I'm being lazy about cleaning my tub I just spray it all down with bleach mixed with water in a spray bottle, wait a few seconds or minutes (depending on how grungy it is), and use your shower sprayer to clean it all off.

I did see a new product on the market that supposedly makes it so you never have to clean your shower again.  You attach it to your shower head and push a button when you get out of the shower.  It sprays down the entire tub/shower and you "never have to clean it again."  I haven't tried it since I usually like to wait for second generation products so they can work the kinks out, but I did see it demonstrated on a morning show and it seems to be pretty powerful.

I saw a brief commercial for this too. It's from the same company that makes the scrubbing bubbles (which is an awesome cleaner) but I was waiting for a review before I went and got this thing.

I have also heard this vinegar mixture that grace gave works.

Not to hijack the post but does anyone know where I can find borax to make the vinegar solution Grace suggested?

It's in the aisle w/the laundry detergents.  It's supposed to be a laundry "booster."
