These are designed by a former A&F designer, so think A&F probably. However, the line looks similar to some of the Saint Grace tees...so I know those are so comfy, and I'll guess these are. Don't have any...but will have to get some. Here's the Daily Candy Article from March:
March 6, 2006The Gold Standard
It’s been well over 30 days since our friend Phil saw his shadow.
The good news: Winter is two weeks shy of calling it quits. The bad news: That goes for everywhere but here.
Every Chicagoan knows that “blustery with a chance of accumulation” can last well into May, no matter what that groundhog says.
If you … just … can’t … take it … anymore, get a jump on spring with Blake Standard, a comfy new collection of soft Supima cotton basics by former A&F designer Pierre Colorado.
The tees, tanks, hoodies, and drawstring pants come in sunny hues (turquoise, coral, yellow, and white) and have great details (crocheted straps) and smart cuts (tie at the neck, gather at the waist).
Just what you want to wear to knock around the house or kick it in the park with friends.
Come mid-June, of course.
Available at Clothes Minded, 1735 North Damen Avenue, at St. Paul Avenue (773-227-3402); Active Endeavors, 853 West Armitage Avenue, between Halsted and Dayton Streets (773-281-8100); E Street Denim, 1876 First Street, Highland Park (847-433-8338).
Haven't tried Blake Standard tees, but I love supima cotton tees! (Zooey is one of the brands that makes them) They are sooo soft and hug in all the right places. Will definitely have to check Blake Standard out.
