Does anyone have any fun ideas for wrapping a present? I'm bored with just the paper and a bow thing. I bought The Davinci Code for my friend's birthday coming up this weekend. (I don't know anything about the book, I just bought it because I know he wants it, so I don't know if that will inspire anyone?)
My latest wrapping desire has been to put something in a cute Chinese takeout box... but obviously this book won't fit in there!

i don't know how much money this would cost but...perhaps get a picture of the sistine chapel ceiling printed at kinkos or something and wrap it in that? and then tie it with a length of gold threaded tassel?
or would that be waaaay too much of a give away as to what the present is?

That's a good idea! I don't care if it gives it away, He'll open it within minutes of my giving it to him anyway. Plus, if he doesn't understand it to begin with (which I wouldn't, because I haven't read the book, and neither has he which is why he wants it!), he'll at least probably be excited to find out what it is!

you could also do the mona lisa...which is what is on the front of the hardcover book, i think...so that might be way too much of a hint but either way i think it would be pretty cool.
