I cannot believe I have come down with the flu. I am so sick I can hardly move. ugh - the timing is so bad I have to get this issue out. I'm thinking because I'm achey its the flu or it's food poisoning. wah

there is one thing I'm working on is trying to make a list of major newspaper fashion editor name/e-mail addresses so I can forward the issue to them. If people could look that up for their local papers that would help.


I've got to update the special offers page but no one can really help with that. I'll think about it. thanks for the offer.

I have been trying to rest but my stomach hurts so bad. my clothes hurt too and all I have on is a sundress. I'm trying to drink water. I did start to feel better and walked out to the mailbox and that was really hard.   I sympathize - food poisoning/stomach flu is the. worst.

I'd be paranoid after watching Oprah about the bird flu.  I have never gotten the flu, nor had shots for it.  Either I'm lucky or immune.

aw - thanks for the well wishes! they must have worked because I'm feeling a lot better.


and yes, cortney - the bird flu totally crossed my mind! it's not transmitable between humans yet though... scary stuff.  and my husband is fine, so I'm wondering if I picked it up at the grocery store or something.

Ugh - I feel your pain. I was stuck inside all weekend (on a 3 day weekend no less!) and had to miss work on Monday with the flu. This dumb guy at work gave it to me, I'm certain. Luckily, he's still coughing and I'm good now. I want to hit him though. The flu/sickness made me extraordinarily angry.


I hope you feel better soon.


Also, I'll forward you the fashion editor/columnist in our local paper. It's not a terribly big city or anything but every bit helps, right?

yeah - I've been whining to my husband that it's his fault (as a joke.)  then this morning I told him how I was aching and in pain all night and with a fever and couldn't sleep, and he said "yeah, I was like that 2 days ago." um, so uh - then you DID give this to me! (I know it's not his fault - just teasing him) BUT he just returned from Asia on Friday... dang bird flu carrier...


I cannot believe I am still freaking sick! I ate toast and grapes today which I did not react well to... my stomach is in still in pain... waaaah feel sorry for me! lol I told my husband he had to come home and sob at my feet over my misery (again, a joke!)


ok, I'm done whining. back to working on the June issue. thanks for your sympathies...
