over this dress I have been lusting over it for such a long time. I was on ebay and found one for 52.00(last bid) but shipping is 20.00 b/c its in China. I have been thinking hummm if I splurge and get some red shoes to with it it could be a early b-day gift to myself.

that is what I was thinking but it shows the tag with marc jacobs  on it. Even if I found a knock off that was similar I would be happy

I'm assuming that since you love the dress you don't care if it is authentic or not.  I would go ahead and get it, unless there is something else that your money should be spent on.  If you can't swing the $72 that it will cost I would wait awhile and maybe the knockoffs will come down some in price.

I got one on eBay a few weeks ago (US seller) and to be honest I'm still not sure whether it's authentic or not.  I went back to Neimans to compare (didn't have my dress with me though).  By the way, it's on sale for $190 right now. 
Anyway, the seams are the same, the tags are the same.  The only thing I question is the weight of the silk.  I think the silk of the dress at Neimans was more substantial, but that is hard to tell without having them side by side. 
Sorry for the tangent.  My point was that even if the one I got on eBay is fake, it is a pretty darn good knockoff!  Sizing was almost the same in my case too.  Good luck!

Thanks ladies yes Heatherlynn I love the dress so much even if it is a knock off and looked similar enough I would not care. The bid for this ends today if I dont win this one I will keep looking
