Aloe vera plants are always good. A fresh plant where you cut the leaves...or if not avail, run to the store & get aloe vera lotion or gel. It cools.

And moisturize if possible to avoid peeling ..yuck!

I know aspirin is supposed to help. Or even baking soda in water on a towel...a cold compress with baking soda.

Take some ibuprofen, drink lots of water, and use aloe gel on the areas that got burnt.  You might still peel if the burn was bad enough, but the aloe should lessen that a bit.

Hope you feel better!  Sunburns suck .

ok, sister, i know this will sound really crazy, but use rice vinager.  it will hurt like hell for about 5-10 minutes, but after that, it won't hurt at all.  you could smack at it and nothing.  it worked when i got that burn at ozz fest that i still have a scar from.

aren't you allergic to the sun?  why didn't you have sunscreen on!!!!!

Noxema is also good. It feels cold going on I got burnt and am peeling now. I tried using this stuff from bath and body works and it worked better than the plain aloe vera.

True Blue® Spa Put it on Ice™ Pain-Relieving Gel with Lidocaine Ouch! Make your sunburned or irritated skin touchable again with the Lidocaine and soothing aloe in this cool blue gel. It eases pain and helps calm itching the moment it touches your skin. Plus it's non-sticky and won't stain.

I second noxema, and make sure to use tons of moisturizer!  Feel better!
