ok, so I've had my eye on these super-frivolous boots since last fall. I cannot tell you how many times I fought the urge to buy these since I need a pair of silver-printed-burgundy-suede -carved-acrylic-heel boots like I need a hole in my head. 


There was something about these boots that kept calling my name though... They must have been tired of the repeated removals from my zappos shopping cart as they presented themselves, once again, at an irresistible $39.95 (from $188.95)...  I let out (honestly) an involuntary gasp when I saw how much they had been marked down.


you may all think I'm nuts (if you don't already ) but I just couldn't live without them! I have no idea when/how/where I'll wear them - I'll figure that out later (jeans are an obvious choice)

no problem - I don't care what anyone thinks, anyway! part of what I love about them is the clear heels - and for $40 - that's my thinking "why not?"

it seems like they were meant to be. 


i love when that stuff happens.  especially when i'm on ebay and i find something that i should've bought like five seasons ago, yet i still look for the item.  then one day i find it, holding my breath that it could be my size.....low and behold, it is.  it's mine!  and for a good price.  ahhhh.  i love that feeling. 


 


i must have a problem too.

we must not have that much of a problem -- we're buying things that haunt us because we love them and you should only buy things you love, right? besides, like you said - it was meant to be

i love love love the patterned shaft of the boots. the clear heel isn't my thing, but for 40 bucks, what the heck.

I like the pattern, unsure about the heel. Who cares? Such a good deal! I would like to see what they look like on with a total outfit...that would make me figure out that heel.

Well, I do think you're nuts, but I'm happy for you. And my favorite pair of shoes is silver Birkenstocks so you really shouldn't be taking advice from me!
