Tara Jarmon Short-Sleeve Dot Print Shirtdress

I'm kind of new around here but I saw this at my target today and I wanted to review it as I remembered seeing multiple posts about it and I was really excited to see it irl.  So here goes: the fabric is really thin and feels a little chintzy, I couldn't tell from the lighting in the dressing room whether it would need a cami and/or slip under it but it's definitely possible.  I'm 5'6" and it came to approx 3-4" above my knees, longer than it looks in the picture but shorter than I'd like.  I usually wear a 4 or 6 in dresses and the medium was a little small, it fit but was a little tight for my liking especially across the bust and it didnt fall as nicely over the hips as I would have hoped.  The sleeves are puffed, which was cute on the hanger but for some reason they made me look like a linebacker!  I didn't feel that it was worth trying on in a large. If the length had been the only issue I would have bought it to wear over jeans or pants but considering the shortcomings it was just not for me!

Eeek. I'm 5'7 and I don't wear skirts/dresses that short. It will definitely need leggings.

I still haven't gotten mine in the mail yet.

Thanks for the review!

I sound around the same size as you and I guess getting the Large was a good idea (even though it makes me feel fat...so stupid!)
