ISO a graduation dress
Permalink Closed

I am graduating in August from college and I want to wear something pretty for graduation. I know I am starting the search early but I am really picky and I will probably have to get the dress altered. Here is what I am looking for. Something that will be keep me cool. It is going to be really hot. I also want something that shows that I am graduating from college, I look a lot younger than I am, so I want something that shows my age. Oh I am also very tiny, so something that may look potentially good on my body type. Sorry for all the specifics but it is so hard to find dresses that look good on me.

Also I need a dinner outfit for that night. I don't know exactly what I want but I want something new.

Thanks for the help.

Maybe you could try a dress from J.Crew.  I just wore one of their silk tricotine dresses and was so happy with it (much more happy than I originally expected).  I think their silk tricotine is the best line--most beautiful and sophisticated, though it may be a bit hot.  This is the one I have.  They do run a bit large--I got a size 0 and the breast area was still very slightly baggy--but I have a very small chest, and I just tightened the halter a bit, you couldn't even tell.  They do have petite sizes too.

Here are some other dresses I like.
