Possibly a weird question but...

I thought I'd ask anyway.  I have this pain in my nipple.  Like a pricking feeling every now and then.  Any ideas?  Anyone had this type of thing before?  Thanks

Hormone flucuations can cause nipple/breast pain.  As long as it's not severe and doesn't become chronic, you can probably just chalk it up to body weirdness.

Thanks Elle.  I am just getting over my period and am on the pill...so that could make sense.  I've had breast tenderness around my period just never nipple pain....thanks

No problem.  I got them too when I started my new pill a couple months ago - they were shooting pains pit to nip though.  Yeouch!  Mine do a weird tingly/itchy thing when I start a new pill pack too .... sudden increase in hormones that causes I suppose.


Just keep an eye on it.  If you start to have any, well, discharge, I'd call your doc.
