Oh. My. Gosh.

I don't even know where to begin. I'm still processing the mass quantities of information that the show produced last night.

I think that Desmond is probably dead. How sad! I was really starting to like him. I think that Locke and Eko are still alive. Desmond made the comment to Locke about Locke saving his life so that he could now save Locke's life. Poor Locke. All he could say was, "I was wrong." I felt so bad for him.

Charlie is just a weirdo. Something funky is going on with that boy and, for once, I don't think it's his drug addiction.

Did anyone else notice that when Michael got into the boat, that someone else got off and it look strangely like Walt? And Henry also said that Walt had decided to join them. If he decided to join them, then why the hell was in on the boat with Michael and who was it that got off the boat? This could all tie-in to Mrs. Klugh's question to Michael about seeing Walt in more than one place or places that he shouldn't be when he was halfway around the world.

Widmore is connected to Hanso. Libby is somehow connected as well. No question. I mean, who gives a total stranger their freaking boat? I know she was disturbed, but seriously, too many weird things about her for me to think that she wasn't connected to Hanso/Widmore. I don't think that Pen is behind it. I think she's using her father's resources to try to find Desmond and she may not know the whole story. I really want Desmond to be alive because I want them to be reunited!!

And yes, we know that the plane crashed because of electromagnetism, but those people have so many connections in their backstory that there still had to be a grander scheme. Electromagnetism was the physical cause, but what is the bigger reason?

Where the hell are Sayid, Jin and Sun? And what was up with the Colossus? So weird.

And yeah, Kelvin was the military officer who dropped Sayid off in the desert. Didn't he also have a picture of Kate when he was riding in the truck with Sayid? So, there's another bizarre connection.

The two guys at the end in the boat-- I *think* they were speaking Portugese. I wonder how far away from the island they really are? It seemed like they were far, but with all of the other things being controlled, why not weather as well? Also, didn't that one guy (the one who answered the phone) look an awful lot like Jack? Weird, weird, weird.

I read somewhere that next season is going to be largely about The Others. And they are also going to run only 7-8 episodes in the fall and then run the final 15 back-to-back starting in January. Yay for no more reruns!!

Hmmm...all very interesting!

Some more thoughts/questions:

1)  Desmond is super hot.  Both with the short hair and long hair.  But he could probably be missing teeth and dragging a leg and I'd still think he was hot because of that damn accent!  *drool*

2)  Uhh....what was that scary bird all about that flew by when Kate, Jack, Sawyer, and Hurley were in the jungle?  Did it really say Hurley's name, because if it did, I must have missed it.

3)  Nyla--I totally did see someone that looked just like Walt get off the boat.  I was really confused by that, but it makes sense in light of what Klugh said and the fact that Walt's image has repeatedly shown up in Season 2.

4)  Speaking of Walt, did we ever figure out why he showed up drenched and speaking backward in earlier episodes this season?  I feel like that's a mystery that hasn't been resolved yet, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Very good episode. DH even watched part of the last half with me and although he was confused he seemed interested. (I think it's because I told him that an article was comparing it to xfiles).

Locke and Eko can't both be dead and I hope neither of them are. I was starting to wonder about sayyid's connection. I liked what he said about how he wasn't sure which was worse...the fact that the foot was all that was left of the statue or the fact that it only had 4 toes. I just knew that fake henry gale was really the leader after he made that comment about what he would do if he was in charge. That guy totally creeps me out. He barely winced when the electromagnetic thing went. What about that crapload of log books? I wonder how long their "experiment" has been going on. What was up with the terradactyl that said Hurley's name?

I missed just a small part about the snowman thing "what did one snowman say to the other?" so since Locke knew the answer does that make Locke the "him" that zeke was talking about when zeke was asking Desmond if he was "him". Desmond seemed to have a lot of info...you think he's dead now?

The guys in the arctic make a little more sense out of the polar bear. So was this a set up by Desmond's girlfriend's dad?

There is still something wierd about Walt and Michael. I hope they clear that up next season.
