I want to get these but the smallest size I've been able to find in stores is a men's 5.5/women's 7, which were really big. I'm usually a 6.5, sometimes a 6. I don't know if I should order the men's 5/women's 6.5 or the men's 4.5/womens 6.
And of course I'd like to have these for my vacation on Monday so I really don't want to order 2 pairs and I'm wondering if I should pay for upgraded shipping on Zappos. I haven't ordered from them too much but I usually get things in 1-2 days. Should I take the risk with free shipping or pony up the extra $15 or $25?
Zappos doesn't always speed up the shipping for me so if you order, I would upgrade the shipping. My husband ordered some asics tigers and his regular size was way way big. He had to order a whole size down.
I wear a 6, sometimes a 6.5 and I needed a 6.5 when I tried on the Tigers. Especially if I wanted to wear them with socks. I think you would be good with a 6.5 but I would hate for you to be disappointed!
Oh--another tip. Do they make this style in kids sizes? I once ordered two pair of asics in the same style - one in a women's/men's size and one in a kids' to see if they were the same. They were exactly the same and the kid's were around 30 dollars cheaper.

i ordered a pair of asics one time from zappos. i think i ordered the 4.5 mens/6 womens and they were a bit snug on me, im usually a 6.5 to 7 in womens
as for the shipping, sometimes they come really fast, and other times they take a while, one time i ordered on a friday afternoon or saturday and got them on monday. i wouldnt ever pay for upgraded shipping, so im kind of biased. sorry im not more helpful.
ive got the pink and green version of those and went with the women's 8 (i forget the size in mens) and they are slightly too big, i should have gotten a half size smaller even though 8's are usually what i wear in sneakers.
thoughts on shipping, hmm? that's a really tough call. id actually say have a backup in place in case 1. they don't come in time or 2. they do come in time and just won't work for whatever reason. $15 or $25 is a lot of money to pay for something that might come just as fast anyway, ya know? i would just chance it with regular zappos shipping, but order now if you're gonna go that route.
