My very considerate husband bought me an iPod for our anniversary (nearly 2 months ago now) and I am just getting some time to play around with it. I am set up on iTunes and downloaded a bunch of songs today, but am feeling a bit out of touch with current music, so wondered if you all had some recs for bands you really like? I'm ready to hear some new music!!

I know a lot of you like Death Cab, but I've tried and I just can't get into them at all. But otherwise, I'm totally open. I always seem to enjoy sort of "indie" bands, so if you love something that's really not all over the airwaves, even better. :)
