Need Opinions on MJ Dress

It doesn't make me immediately think 'apron', so if you like it I think you should keep it.

That said, I do like something around the waist but I think the wide belt looks off - IMO showing the 'waist' of the dress is important since it's more voluminous everywhere else and I think with the belt on your tiny waist gets lost. Maybe a skinny belt or ribbon/sash instead?

I think its really cute. I have to agree with FashionPrincess, without the ribbon: it can pass by as a nurse outfit. Unless u add more accessories such as purses and shoes with colors. It should be great.

I really like it. Maybe you should get ribbon at the crafts store so you could actually tie a bow around your waist. I think it would look super cute!

Nice dress... I am jealous. I am looking for a cute white summer dress like that and I am obsessed with MJ. I agree... a nice ribbon sash in a blue color would work beautifully with that. I know BCBG will be giving out sashes as a gift with purchase in dept. stores such as Lord and Taylor in a few weeks... They make a perfect blue one!

I don't know...something about the proportion seems to be a bit off. You have a nice figure and even with the belt/sash I don't think it does much for you. I think you could find cuter...

I think its cute but it needs more color. I agree with FP that it looks a little nurse-ish. Maybe try a brighter belt- red or green? And more colorful shoes.

I agree with the few dissenters. You have a great figure but I just don't think this dress does it justice...I think you could do better. If you decide to keep it though, I agree with the thinner belt/sash and the idea of colorful accessories.
