We just got done (well, almost done) remodeling our downstarirs.  It was two rooms, but we knocked down the wall to make one big family room.  Just wanted to share pics cause I'm pretty pleased with how it is turning out

I still lack some accessories and I need a big rug.  And we have a pair of chairs on order that are replacing the wicker chairs (those are going outside).  And all the trim isn't back down yet, still need to paint the cabinet doors the color of the walls, but you get the idea   I'll post updated pics when we get the chairs.

wicked, that is my beagle dog, Brittney.  Doesn't she match the wall colors nicely (totally wasn't planned that way)


halleybird and cortney, the floors are Bruce locking hardwood in gunstock.  My hubby installed them.


kahluamilk, the armoire is from Broyhill's Painter's Shed line.

Rosie, Brittney is doing great, she hasn't really had any problems except some skin allergies, but I think we've got those under control, thanks for asking


Drew, I use to work as a decorator/designer at a high end furniture store and contracted myself out to clients, so I'd be happy to help with any decorating challenges (for no charge of course ).

Wow! Your eye for details is amazing - really like the touch with the hot air balloons on the walls. The picture frames on the table are so reminiscent of the diamond pattern of that era along with the balloons... not sure if I am expressing it right but just love it!
