I think the hurdle in funkifying this dress is that it's so elegant. The dresses you used as examples are not very elegant - sure, they may have "elegant" fabric, but the styling is not - they have more of a casual feel.
I think the feather hair accessory might be nice, but I don't know that I would classify it as funky - plus I'm unsure of what it would look like - there's a potential fine line of tacky, even though I know you wouldn't cross that line...
I like the idea of the scarf around the neck though. what are your wedding colors again? I'm wondering if a navy blue scarf like shown in your sample pics would look nice...

sorry hon, I'm clueless. The style of the dress really don't lend to funkify-ing... The feather might work, but as D. said it might also look tacky. Its hard to tell.
I agree-the dress is to classic to funkify, and so is the color. ..Perhaps some fun jewelery or shoes (striped or polka dot in satin incorporating the color of the dress). But I'm unsure of the feather in the hair thing.

Is it a dress or a two piece? I can't really tell from the picture. What about a ribbon or sash following the piping(?) at the hips. That or some really great shoes, not the dyed to match kind. Could she wear a tight petticoat type thing with a train in a complementary color? It wouldn't necassarily be funky, but different from the other girls.
