I still like cowboy boots (maybe that's because I'm kind of country though).  I think as long as you don't wear them with anything boho-ish you should be fine.  I had an outfit the other day that I wanted to wear boots with but I was wearing cutoff shorts and thought I had to wait a while to do that look for fear of looking Daisy Duke.  But I still wear them with jeans or to concerts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They are never out, I think they are always in. And if not, who cares. They are so comfy (if you get a good pair) and they look hot! Tall or short, wearing jeans or a dress/skirt...whatever the case, they are cool in my book always!

 

 

I wouldn't worry about it.  IMO, cowboy boots are a classic that did hit a recent high in popularity.  I'm sure they'll be cute w/ a shirtdress.
