Wow. That was so intense. They didn't leave too many questions unanswered. I really like that though. This was by far, the best episode all season.

I thought the dog scene was the saddest part of the whole episode.

What a great episode! I cried when the dog was being put to sleep - so sad. And I had a bad feeling from the minute Denny got the heart that he would end up dying. Poor Izzie, but I didn't hear that any major characters were leaving the show, so I bet she'll be back, or at least still on the show.

As for Derek and Meredith - they have been leading up to this all season. I actually, for the first time, believe Derek is ready to leave his wife - he asked "now what Meredith" it seems like she has the decision to make now.

Great episode!

I really think the saddest part was when alex was trying to get izzie off of dennie & then picked her up & sat down holding her. Oh, I'm still blubbering just thinking about it! And Addison SO knows what was going on. It's like you could see the light bulb going off. Screw Derek & pick the vet already!

Me too! I actually managed to hold back the tears when they put the dog down, but they let loose when Dennie died! Poor Izzy! I think I'd need to be under heavy sedation for awhile if that happened to me .

Screw McDreamy! He had his chance to choose her and he didn't, so now here is her chance to do the same thing to him that he did to her and pick someone else!

Yes, I too have swollen eyes this morning. SUCH a good episode. I loved the Alex/Izzy scene - it was very sweet. And, Duh, he's been smitten for her for ages now! NO way is Izzy leaving - she cant - it would break up the group. I can't believe Denny dies - that totally sucked. And Meredith is going to choose the vet - she just has too! I cant believe she slept with McDreamy! A little kissing yes, but she slept with him! Ugh! And then Cally busted them! And, what's up with Cristina? She freaked out.

I loved this scene - I really thought Alex redeemed himself and I thought to myself "aww, he really loves Izzie".

By the way - Grey's Anatomy is moving to Thursday's at 8pm CT/9pm ET in the fall. Opposite the OC

I loved it! I was totally crying during both deaths! How sad. And I loved the way Alex picked Izzy up and held her, it made me want them to be together, but I bet it will take her a while to get over Denny. At first when she was telling evryone what she did and they were all telling her she was crazy and Denny would die, she seemed like she was trying to hard to show emotion and I was like "how about a little acting here" But then when he died I was like "oh, there it is" It had me in tears! I loved how they ended it too. I REALLY want to know who she chooses!

izzy stole the show. in the begining of the season she was kind of a bit player with no real story line, but last night god it was all about her. i thought her and alex were great in the death secen i also thought her and the cheif were great in the did you cut his cord inquisition. i think izzy is leaving the show a friend told me izzy has a new show coming out this fall. plus she has that movie out too.

the hallway secen with george and his girlfriend with the whole why didn't you say i love you back. . . all i have to say is they should NEVER show george kissing his girlfriend passionatly while STANDING it looked like he was trying to climb a mountain and she is not THAT big of a girl, but george is kinda short and stuff. . .by the way loved how she caught meredith and mcdreamy. nice twist.

speaking of meredith and the mcdream. ok i am begining to really hate them both. first of all i don't like men who aren't willing to make hard decisions. leaving/staying with his wife is a decison HE SHOULD MAKE not fob it off on his needy girlfriend/mistress the whole what now meredith thing smacks of cowardice. be a man and choose who you want and pursue that choice and then stick by that choice whatvever that choice might be. jeesh. can we get him a quick class on ethics. what a weak petulant way for him to go.

meredith. is. a. looser. never sleep with a married man, never for any reason be alone with a married man whom you still have feelings for, never make needy speeches to said married man and never if that married man called you a whore forgive him and boink him in an empty office with your new boyfriend and his wife only a few feet away. enough said.

wonder if they are going to make meredith preggo with mcdreamy while she trys to work it out with the vet next season, i didn't see any condom useage in that love secene.

I said the same thing to one of my friends. I don't know if they would do that story line since they did something similar with Christina.

If they have Izzy leaving the show, I will not watch anymore! She is my fav. Meredith is SSOOOOOO annoying! I wish she would leave the show. I guess the sound of her voice and eye squinting only bugs me.
