crystal: i noticed in your recent threadstyle posting that the first shoes were white. are they patent leather white? i love them in your outfit and think they look really striking.


the reason im asking is because i have a pair of patent leather white shoes that i absolutely love but have never ever worn cause im sorta wierded out by them. i love them in the box and sitting on my floor but i guess im just chicken to wear them for some reason. and plus, the last time i went to put them on my boyfriend said they look like a hookers shoes. not sure where he got that from cause they are baby kitten heels but still, that comment really stops me from wearing them.


how do the rest of you ladies feel about patent leather white shoes?

hmm, if you can post a pic of them maybe we can help come up with ideas easier. I can't imagine how they'd look like hooker shoes- if anything I always feel like white can look a little 'eater morning mass". But guys are dumb about things like that sometimes.

I have a pair of white heels and find they're kind of hard to work with, but I like them a lot with navy.

Well, I am a huge fan of white heels...there's something about white heels that's just so yummy. I don't know about patent leather though, i'm on the fence about patent leather shoes in general.

How tall is the heel? I'd probably wear them w/ jeans just so you avoid looking porno-y.

I'm also a fan of the white shoes this summer.  I found a Steve Madden version of the Christian Louboutin heels in a white patent color and I am in lover with them.  I think white heels are very classy and if done right can give a very clean, flirty, trendy look!  I say GO FOR IT.  BTW, I'm definetly going to buy the white patent pumps.  They are at his website: www.stevemadden.com under the pumps category if anyone else is interested.  They also have them in black, gold, caramel, and red...
