Anyone up for something, maybe a shopping day and lunch. I know a lot of you prefer an evening out, but that's kind of hard for me. Anyone willing to do an afternoon? Maybe even something kid freindly?

SUGGESTION: Okay not to be self-serving but we have a festival here in Geneva called "Swedish Days", it's kind of a carnival, taste of chicago, craft fair, street fair thing mixed together type thing. We also have great boutiques here. I thought some girls might enjoy coming to check it out.

I would love to! I think an afternoon would be great and I think kid friendly is fine! I am in! I agree about maybe something toward the end of May, early June.

Either day is fine for me! Mikacat and I were actually planning to get together on the 23rd, so if she doesn't mind sharing our day with other ST'ers, neither do I! The more the merrier! The only thing is, I can't take a weekday off work, so it would have to be a night-time meeting for me. My idea is meeting by Woodfield Mall in Schamburg, maybe dinner at California Pizza Kitchen (kid friendly :), and then there would be shopping all around us if we wanted to check out some stores before or after. Also, Schamburg is kind of a middle point for city and suburb girls. Just a suggestion!! P.S. Gameworks is also over there, that could be fun.

I could do the 21st but not the 23rd I'll actually be in Lake geneva for a wedding. Itsapinkthing is that where you live? I'm there the 23rd-25th we'll have to try to meet up for a coffee!


Any other days are ok for me and I like teh Schaumburg idea, it's an easy drive for us city girls and they have great shopping there.

Collette, I live in Geneva IL. a south west suburb...
Looks like the Schaumburg thing is probably the more popular idea huh?
