Remember the Elliott Lucca design a bag contest nearly a year ago from Lucky Breaks?  Anyways, I get my e-mail from them with the winner's bag (below):


BLACKCAMELLUGGAGEWHITE


Um, now I'm a little mad because didn't they say design a colorful bag?  So I did a one in color (since they asked for it) when I most would have preferred a luggage color neutral.  This winner's bag is only so-so.  Pleating, studs, and tassles, it's nothing original.  Agh, at least I won one of the $100 gift certificates.

It seems like when that contest was on boho was at it's height, so it makes sense that they would pick SUCH a boho bag. Personally I hate it, I think it looks like mossimo for zellers or something.

I don't remember hearing about the contest, so if you don't mind me asking, what did you have to do in order to get the $100 prize? Submit a design, or get chosen for the top 50 designs or something? Just curious.
