I heard on the radio this morning...


Chris Daughtry was offered a new job yesterday... Lead Singer for Fuel!!!!!!! (I guess the old lead singer quit a few months ago.)

I heard on MSNBC last night that there is speculation that the show was "fixed" so Chris could be voted off so he could either accept the offer as the lead signer for Fuel or because his band had been signed and pursuant to his contract with AI he couldn't do either if he was voted the "Americal Idol".

He is still technically under contract with American Idol.  That is why in his press conference he was only allowed to say he had offers, but couldn't say if he accepted any of them.  He had offers from Fuel and Creed, both of which need lead singers.  He is under contract until they finish promotions for this season and finish the tour.  However, if he had won he would have been under contract for much longer than just the rest of the season.  So I guess it could have been rigged for that purpose.
