you wrote that you got to try on irl the mike and chris hoodie, how do their sizes run? im usually an xs in everything except for places like abercrombie, where they run small...should i order the parker hoodie in xs or s?

I think the run small. I'm a 34D and a 4/6. I'd hardly call myself a big girl, but I wear the largest size Mike and Chris makes (L) in the Oliver hoodie. I don't think an M would button up over my stomach, let alone my chest. I usually wear an S at mall stores or an M at places like Abercrombie and most boutique stuff. I would get the S to be safe...I think the XS is for the Nicole Ritchies of the world.

also, you may want to read about the sizing info on MUA, lots more. after reading all those posts, I'd say to size up only if you have a large chest, otherwise they're boutique TTS (whatever size you are at A&F, pretty much).

Hey girl, where'd you try IRL? Intuition? I totally want a l/s M&C when they come out for Fall. Gotta start saving though, I saw the Edison (leather) one on Jessica Alba & started hunting for it... finally found it only to realize it was $880!

I have a Mike & Chris Parker hoodie in S (which I think is the one you want to get?) and it fits fine on my 34C chest. I'm a 4/S but XS in places like Gap or Banana where they have vanity sizing. I think the S should be fine for you. I could have gotten a M if I wanted a baggier fit though, so it depends on if you want it on the looser side. hth!

I tried it on at Scout on Third near Fairfax and The Grove...I'm never in Hollwood now that I work on the Westside. The leather hoodies are pretty IRL too but I didn't want to try them on because I can't drop that kind of money on anything.


I think Le Train Bleu has the leather ones as well...maybe not so bad after a 25% off code (luckymag...it's in the June Lucky).


I like the one I got so much I might get a different style this fall.


And I am never daring to set foot in Intuition after seeing the Target shite.

LOL, thanks girl! I would never purchase from Intuition cuz of their bad CS, but I'd be willing to check them out because they carry a lot of stuff I'd like to try on. I (luckily) am not really a big fan of the current season leather hoodies, the one I wanted was from 05. But I am aware of the luckymag code, thank you! I am gonna hold out for the l/s version of yours and hope it only costs an arm, not arm & leg!!


p.s. not sure about your comment about not being in hollywood... that wasn't in ref to intuition right? cuz that's on pico near the westside pavillion. and i wouldn't consider the grove to be hollywood... maybe it was just an "in general" comment...

oops! I meant to say West Hollywood, but as far as I'm concerned the Grove is in another universe.
