I was shocked too! I was sure Kat was gone last night. I think she thought so as well. Did you see her face when Ryan said Chris was going home? I wasn't a huge Chris fan but I really liked his performances from Elvis night and I was sorry to see him go.

I think it will probably be Kat and Taylor in the finals too but I really hope it's Taylor and Elliott. I love Taylor and I really like Elliott. I would like to see either one win. Kat doesn't really do much for me. I started out really liking her and I still think she has a beautiful voice and is very pretty but I'm not really captured by her performances.

I am so sad to see him go! I really like him as a performer.

My guess is that Taylor and Elliott will be the top two, unless Elliott has a really bad week next week.

I was really stunned to see Chris go, too. I think he has amazing talent and is the whole package. I hope he gets a recording deal on his own.

Personally I don't love Kat, but at least she had her boobs contained last nite!

I hope it's Elliott and Taylor - hard to call that one. Taylor is definitely an entertainer, but Elliott has a certain charm.

I loved Chris and had picked him and Taylor from the beginning. I don't think Kat is much and I don't like Elliot at all. So I'm pulling for Taylor big time! But in reality I can see Chris making it in the "real" music world more then any of the others.

I can not tell you how heart broken I am that Chris was voted off... I LOVE HIM!!! I hope he comes out with a CD... I am so sad

I am so sad and pissed that Chris was voted off, but then again it also doesn't surprise me. I don't think anyone who does "rock" music will ever win Idol. The always have pop singers win, which is so annoying. I don't even care who wins now. I hate Taylor, find Elliott boring, and Kat is just another pop singer to me.

And wasn't it crappy the way he was "kicked off"... It was so brief, so rude almost...Ryan was like Chris, everyone expected you to be in the final two.... [brief pause] you're going home.

I agree with you kahluamilk-I couldn't get over the way they told him. Poor Chris looked like he was in as much shock as most of the audience was.

He really was a great singer, but I think that he is probably better off not winning. First of all, he will without a doubt have a record deal either way and this way he isn't locked into Idol for his first album and he won't have to sing those stupid ballads they always have the winners do. I think he will have more creative input in an album that he does outside of the Idol contract.
