Favorite piece of clothing?

Great post, I love threads like this...my most favorite piece (or pieces) of clothing are my Charlotte beach pants and shorts. I'm not really into buying multiples but I love these so much I have four pair, in different colors, and the shorts.

I have Charlottes. I wash them regular in the wash and air dry them. Then I iron them using the hottest setting, lots of steam, and lots of starch. They do get super wrinkly in the wash, don't they?

Here are my favorite pieces.

Grail hummingbird hoodie and Forever 21 dress. (shown together here). I'm wearing the hoodie today and I swear I feel cooler when I wear it.

True Religion Joeys (best denim purchase ever...I bought these in 2004 and I love them as much today as I did when I first got them. )

My two pairs of Alvin Valley work pants. I always feel great in them, and people always compliement them...they make a curvy rear look nothing short of awesome. This is the style, but I own them in black and brown pinstripe.

I wash them in cold water on the gentle cycle and hang them to dry. Also, I use Woolite instead of regular detergent. They still get a little worn after awhile but they seem to hold up better than washing them regularly and then drying them. My first pair are the most worn-out and I think it's because originally I washed and dried them. I got my second pair about a month after my first and never washed them on regular or dried them and they're in much better condition than my first pair and I've washed them about the same amount of times.

Did you ever notice that the care instructions say to dry clean the charlottes? They would probably hold up better if they were dry cleaned but I wear mine more as lounging pants so I've never actually followed the instructions.
