so, I loved in her shoes. It made me cry. I could relate a little too well.
I'm about 20 minutes into Elizabethtown ans am stuggling to not turn it off. If I had anything else to do, it would be off by now. Hopefully it gets better...

So what did you think of Elizabethtown overall? It was one of my favorites. I loved the road trip at the end.

I turned it off about 45 minutes into it. I might try again later this week. It was starting to get to the point where I thought it might be good, but I didn't have the patiance for it.

I watched Casanova this weekend and it was pretty good. I started the Family Stone but didn't finish it yet. It was looking like a cute/funny movie.

I am late with this, but I recently purchased Before Sunrise. This is the first one. They did a sequel, I think it is called Before Sunset. It is classic Ethan. I can't believe I am calling him classic. It is Ethan Hawke Before He Became Weird. I mean, would you cheat on Uma Thurman??? I digress. It is a great chick flick.

ETA: I just noticed Maddie suggested these movies! And I want to second Mystic Pizza.Fantastic early Julia Roberts chick flick with the wonderful Lilli Taylor. Love her.

I didn't like Shopgirl either. It was one of those movies I kept watching only to see if it actually got better, and it didn't. And I couldn't STAND the music. Nothing was happening and there was this really loud (was it classical? I can't remember) self-important music that made me want to punch the TV.

You guys are crazy! Shopgirl is like my new Annie Hall! Though I will love Annie Hall always and forever. I think it's cause Jeremy reminded me of this guy I dated once and I could totally relate to a lot about Mirabelle. And it's so funny! The scene where Jeremy and Mirabelle hook it? Hilarious.

Try to give Elizabethtown another shot. I really loved that movie. I know it's slow moving, and honestly not a lot happens, but I thought it had a lot of meaning. I like movies like that though. I can say the same about Shopgirl. It's very slow moving, but I liked the meaning.
