after waiting and waiting and waiting for the pirate ship tee from delias to finally get off of backorder, it finally came yesterday. however...i think it was printed inside out! the side with the seams and tag in is quite faded and gray while the side with the seams and tag out is quite crisp and dark black. however, it appears that it was printed correctly if you take notice of the way the ship is facing. so...should i just return it since it looks so freaking awful? that's kinda the way im leaning, what do you all think?
i took pictures and wanted to see what you all thought. hopefully the pics will show up okay.

and just for reference, the actual delias image:

My Urban Outfitters panda tee (you know the one I'm talking about) is the same way. I think it's supposed to be like that. I think it's supposed to make it look older and more "vintage-y" and you wear it with the seams in like a regular tee shirt. So, yeah, I think it's supposed to be like that.
If you don't like the way it looks, I say return it. I have a Ramones tee from Urban that's printed on the inside so on the outside the design's more faded, so on your tee it probably was intentional. The image on the website is totally misleading though, since it doesn't look faded like it does irl. Maybe you should call cs and ask them if the other tees look like that?
i also have an urban shirt that is printed inside out - so when you wear it, it looks liek the design is inside out, but the tags and seams are on the inside - i think carrie's got it right. weird that the delia's pic doens't look like that though.
I have an AE tee that has the same thing. The design of the outside is light and when I took off the shirt I saw that the inside design was much more brighter and colorful. I figured it was the style...
thanks guys. yeah, i guess i sorta already knew that it was supposed to look that way but come one...it's not even nicely done vintage fade. it seriously looked like they printed it inside out. anyway...im gonna return it. i really wanted that shirt too!

Just FYI, Urban had a shirt that was really similar to that in stores, but it was a Yeah Yeah Yeahs band shirt. Yeah Yeah Yeahs was written really small though. However, I can't find it online on either the YYY's site or Urban's.
