i've never heard of this, but it sounds like  ...


hummus, feta, olive oil, olives ... mmmmmmmm

Yeah I think that's pretty much the jist(sp?) of it.  Lots of fish and seafood, veggies, fruit, low on red meat and dairy.  It sounds interesting.  I'm doing weight watchers so if I try it I'll probably still count points.  I may look on amazon for a book about it.

My sister did this via ediets.  She liked it - said she was always full from the food.  I don't think she's doing it anymore, but she still eats many of the foods often.


Also, I've heard the Sonoma diet is a modified version of the Med. diet with basically the same foods.

Yes, definitely.  She was injured and couldn't exercise and still lost weight.
